Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Excavation Laborer to join our team at Roto-Rooter. As a key member of our sewer & water services repair team, you will be responsible for operating backhoes and mini-excavators to repair and replace sewer and water mains.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain backhoes and mini-excavators to perform sewer and water main repairs and replacements
  • Follow OSHA and Roto-Rooter safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Interact with customers to provide excellent customer service
  • Perform manual labor in open excavations and confined spaces
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on meeting deadlines and completing jobs within specified timeframes
Requirements
  • Construction experience in residential and commercial settings
  • Able to work in confined spaces and open trenches
  • Current CDL or ability to obtain within 90 days
  • Trenchless water, sewer, and gas experience a plus
