Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
- Assume responsibility and accountability for rapid assessment and nursing diagnosis, collaborating with medical partners to ensure safe patient diagnostic testing and optimal care plans.
- Perform advanced practice procedures and utilize the nursing process to promote and restore the health and well-being of patients.
- Demonstrate personal accountability for upholding the organizational mission and core values.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or advanced practice setting is preferred.
- Specialized nursing skills and knowledge relevant to the specialty.
- A Master's Degree in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner from a nationally accredited postgraduate certificate program is required, along with graduation from an accredited nursing school.
- Registered Nurse Practitioner Licensure and listing on the state Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Registry are required. Board certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in applicable population foci and/or subspecialty is necessary.
- A valid RN License.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association may be required based on the practice setting.
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association may be required based on the practice setting.
- Prescriptive Authority (RXN) or Provisional Prescriptive Authority (RXN-P), if applicable for the role with an associated articulated plan.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires medium work, which may involve exerting up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly.
