Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver timely and high-quality client service that meets or surpasses client expectations, including the coordination of audits for intricate financial statements, related disclosures, and other client outputs.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the client's business and requirements, becoming an industry expert to address client-specific needs.
  • Apply RSM's Global Audit Methodology effectively.
  • Oversee and mentor Audit Associates on engagement teams, acting as the in-charge to facilitate fieldwork while monitoring productivity and adherence to work plans.
  • Proactively identify and address client concerns, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Ensure efficient communication between clients and the audit team to streamline information flow.
  • Identify and relay significant accounting and auditing matters to the manager/senior manager and partner on engagements.
  • Provide constructive feedback on financial statements and prepare other essential client deliverables such as board communications and management letters.
  • Recognize industry-specific and general accounting and auditing challenges, including revenue recognition and business combinations.
  • Determine suitable audit approaches for various areas.
  • Identify opportunities for performance enhancement among team members.
  • Promote professional development through continuous education.
  • Be prepared to travel up to 25% of the year, depending on client needs.


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a public accounting setting.
  • Solid understanding of audit services with knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and FASB or IFRS regulations.
  • CPA Certification or demonstrated progress towards obtaining CPA certification, including necessary coursework.
  • Proven experience and capability to act as in-charge on engagements.
  • Willingness to accept supervision and guidance.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of audit services with an understanding of PCAOB.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently.

Compensation Range: $86,500 - $163,900. Selected candidates will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on individual and firm performance.
