Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at Disability Solutions. As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Assist in the initial screening of work requests and process them into work orders.
  • Manage the maintenance stores room, including performing periodic cycle counts and full stock inventories.
  • Perform quality reviews and close PM and remedial work orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders.
  • Document maintenance activities in accordance with cGMP requirements.
  • Prepare and submit purchase requisitions for department employees.
  • Order parts and supplies for Manufacturing and Packaging.
  • Utilize SAP CMMS to manage PM scheduling, prepare PRs, manage stores room inventory, and close PM and remedial work orders.
  • Assist the team lead and department manager in coordinating with contractors.
  • Assist in monitoring work activities of outside contractors.
  • Maintain department SOP binders.
  • Participate in required training activities.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal customers on status of work requests and parts order status.
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Assist the department manager in developing performance measures using SAP CMMS data.
  • Update and publish department performance measures.
  • Other responsibilities as requested by the department manager.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED preferred.
  • 2-3 years maintenance planning and stores/inventory experience.
  • Knowledgeable of stores and inventory systems.
  • Advanced skills in using the CMMS for maintenance work orders and stores processes.
  • Outstanding organizational, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with others and without direct supervision.
  • PC Word/Excel and SAP skills required.
  • Possess outstanding communication skills; able to solve most problems without manager's help.
  • Detailed knowledge of material control/expediting processes.
  • Capable of operating material handling equipment.
  • Knowledgeable of maintenance technical terms, blueprint/P&ID reading and estimating a plus.
