Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Carolina Behavioral Care. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Functions:
    • Review and manage provider schedules
    • Obtain prior authorizations and process patient information
    • Check in and out patients, collect copays, and answer incoming phone calls
    • Provide excellent customer service and respond to billing and insurance inquiries
  • CMA Functions:
    • Assist with vitals, venipuncture, and injection administration
    • Support providers with patient care and history
    • Process urine drug screens and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
