Job Details

Sono-Diag/Echo Tech needed for a 13-week assignment. The first two weeks will be from 7pm to 7am, Thursday to Saturday, and then the remaining weeks will be 8-hour days, Monday to Friday, from 7am to 1:30pm.

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of recent adult echocardiogram sonography experience. BLS (AHA) certification and either a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) credential are required. A graduate from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program is strongly preferred. Epic experience is also beneficial. A permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility is necessary.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for diagnostic cardiac or vascular ultrasound that results in providing the cardiologist with measurements and accurate images of cardiac structures in order for the physician to provide accurate diagnosis. Provides immediate feedback with preliminary reports of critical results to the nurses and physicians in the health system is critical for life-saving treatment intervention. Assists the physician with studies and aids them in proceeding with complex procedures to decrease potential associated procedural risks including procedures in the OR, Hybrid lab, Cath lab, and CAD, to include TAVR, SAVR, Tandem heart, and Lariet procedures. Experience in TTE (inpatient and outpatient), TEE, structural imagining, ECMO, and Impella placement is preferred.
