The salary for this position is approximately $85,000 per year, based on national averages for a Registered Nurse with Level III NICU experience in New Jersey.
Job Responsibilities- Assess patients to develop and implement individualized plans of care
- Administer therapeutic interventions and regimes as prescribed
- Effectively manage rapidly changing situations
- Participate in clinical decision-making
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, individual care needs, and wellness
- Delegate and monitor care rendered by other nursing department members and healthcare team members
- Demonstrate standard precautions and patient safety principles in practice
- Participate in performance improvement activities and maintain professional and departmental level competencies
To be considered for this role, you must have a valid NJ RN License and demonstrate knowledge of nursing skills, hospital practices, procedures, and standards. Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate efforts of a team of care providers are essential.
