1st Shift - Metal Stamping Press Operator - Comprehensive Benefits
Position Overview
An ideal candidate will possess prior experience in machine operation, specifically within a metal stamping setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Operating various punch presses throughout the facility, including those with progressive dies.
- Setting up and managing straight side presses with capacities of 60 tons and above, including servo-driven presses. This role will also involve high-volume multi-out progressive tooling and feeding systems.
- Executing tasks such as blanking, bending, punching, and forming in accordance with blueprints and other directives.
- Interpreting and comprehending blueprints, routing sheets, and/or work instructions to ascertain specifications.
- Measuring completed work and applying shop mathematics to ensure compliance with specifications. Utilization of hand tools such as micrometers and calipers will be necessary for in-process part verification.
- Maintaining production efficiency levels of 80% or higher.
