About the Position

We are looking for a skilled Junior Software Architect to join our team at FlightSafety International and contribute to the development of our visual simulation systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development, with a focus on visual simulation systems. This role involves developing software for real-time image generation, visual environment creation, display system design, and computer systems security.

You will work closely with senior engineers to design, implement, and maintain software solutions that meet our high standards of quality and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop software for real-time image generation, visual environment creation, and display system design.
  • Work with senior teammates to configure and manage simulator software, including source control systems, software builds, packaging, and installation.
  • Support the installation and implementation of device drivers for interfacing with hardware.
  • Evaluate hardware and software for production and development computer systems under the direction of a senior engineer.
  • Perform cybersecurity hardening measures and risk mitigation.
