VDC Drafter

We are seeking a highly skilled VDC Drafter to join our team at Encore Electric, Inc. as an Electrical Design Specialist. In this role, you will assist the Lead VDC Coordinator in the electrical design and layout of construction projects, with a focus on data center projects.

• Support the CAD needs of the Preconstruction, Marketing, Prefabrication, and Field construction teams
• Work in 3D models, create Install Drawings, 2-D CAD Details, 3-D CAD Drawings, As-Built Drawings, and Link and Maintain Index Sheets
• Organize and maintain CAD file archives, and stay current with required training for company's CAD requirements
• Quality assurance of work product

• High School Diploma or equivalent, along with an A.A.S. Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or equivalent
• Knowledge in AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks Manage, Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office
• Skills in acting as a self-starter, working well with others, spatial orientation, customer management, listening, speaking intelligently, estimating resources needed to complete required tasks, adapting to new and changing requirements, managing complex projects, using communication software, effective written and oral communication, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships, operating a computer, and prioritizing and reprioritizing to meet job needs
