We are seeking a highly qualified Board Certified/Board Eligible physician to join our team at the Lacrosse Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary care services to veteran patients, including history, physical examination, diagnosis, and initiation of medical treatment.
- Initiate and facilitate treatment and transfer in emergency situations.
- Follow-up office visits for existing medical problems and appropriate diagnostic test and medication adjustments.
- Referral of patients as needed to appropriate specialists, health care facilities, and coordination of home health services.
- Document assessments and plan of care for each patient in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Board Certification in a primary care specialty.
- Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any US State or territory.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Ability to work cooperatively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
