We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medication Technician to join our team at Ridge Pinehurst LLC. As a Medication Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering medications and providing exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans and state regulations.
- Monitor and document resident medication usage, including any instances of non-compliance or adverse reactions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident medication records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of resident care, including assisting with daily living activities and providing emotional support.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Current Colorado QMAP Certificate
- 1+ year of experience in a QMAP/Med Tech role or similar experience in residential care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and resident satisfaction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, and staff
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Competitive hourly rate: $17.75 - $22.51 per hour, depending on experience
