Job Summary

The Site Safety Specialist is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for all employees at specified job sites. This involves conducting safety inspections, training employees in safety practices, and enforcing compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement proactive safety measures.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, including OSHA and other industry-specific safety standards.
  • Develop and implement safety programs, policies, and procedures across all field operations.
  • Collaborate with the Safety and Risk Manager to ensure that safety initiatives are effectively communicated and followed by field teams.
  • Monitor job site conditions and make adjustments as necessary to ensure safe execution of work activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety Management or related field.
  • Certified in OSHA 30-hours, First-Aid/CPR.
  • Three+ years of experience in occupational safety, preferably in a field or construction environment.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, including OSHA and ASME standards.
  • Ability to lead and influence others to prioritize safety in all operations.

Working Conditions:

The work environment involves working in both office and field environments, including exposure to potential safety hazards.
