Job Description

The BIM Coordinator position at Crossland Construction Company Inc. is responsible for overseeing the success of the virtual construction model. This role requires managing and implementing the BIM Execution Plan, coordinating digital content from Architects, Engineers, Subcontractors, and Owners, and resolving model conflicts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and implement the BIM Execution Plan for individual projects.
  • Coordinate digital content from Architects, Engineers, Subcontractors, and Owners.
  • Resolve model conflicts and coordinate installation sequences.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to understand constructability and incorporate necessary changes.
  • Train Construction Management Team on using coordination tools and software.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2 years of experience working in engineering, architecture, and/or construction industry.
  • Proficiency in a BIM content platform, such as Revit or similar.
  • Proficiency in a BIM Coordination platform or tool, such as Navisworks, BIM 360, or similar.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with the Owner and Construction Team.
