Purpose:
As a skilled Radiologic Technologist, you will perform imaging procedures at a technical level, utilizing established scan protocols and complex imaging equipment to acquire, analyze, and document image data. This role requires independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.

We are offering a competitive compensation package, including a $15,000 sign-on bonus for a 2-year commitment. This position will work rotating weekend shifts and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities:
Perform computed tomography procedures, including contrast administration, without requiring constant supervision.
Utilize complex imaging equipment to acquire, analyze, and document image data, completing procedures according to protocol.
Ensure all exams are properly coded and tracked through the RIS system, networked to ISITE for archiving and interpretation, and charges are adequately entered for the exams performed.
Administer PO, rectal, and IV contrast per physician orders/department policy, assessing patients for potential risk factors prior to administration.
Communicate instructions to patients in a clear and concise manner, explaining procedures to alleviate fears and solicit cooperation.
Perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment to adjust protocols and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation appropriately for diagnostic CT purposes.

Qualifications:
Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited CNMT program.
ARRT certified as a Radiologic Technologist or certified by a CNMT program. Must obtain CT Board Certification within 18 months of hire date. CPR or BLS required.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
ARRT Certificate or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC).
Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting, Act 33, Act 34, Act 73 FBI Clearance.
