Job Opportunity: Events & Experiences Assistant (PT) Seasonal

Campbell County's Citizen Engagement & Quality of Life Department is seeking a part-time Events and Experiences Assistant to support seasonal public activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging children's programs in Campbell County parks and libraries, area daycares, and preschools;
  • Create interactive Pop Up Library experiences in various areas of Campbell County;
  • Attend community events with a contact table or Pop Up Library, fostering connections with local stakeholders;
  • Assist with senior programming and outreach to area churches and businesses;
  • Collaborate with area organizations to provide library services and support large-scale events in Campbell County parks and libraries;
  • Represent Campbell County as a brand ambassador, promoting the county's quality of life initiatives;
Requirements:
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Knowledge of library practices, procedures, technology, and techniques;
  • Exemplary customer service skills and ability to establish effective working relationships;
  • Ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment, and work well with children and diverse community groups;
