About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team at Plainridge Park Casino. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide fast, friendly, and professional service to restaurant guests and staff
  • Engage in friendly conversations with guests and use their name during interactions
  • Take food and drink orders, communicate with the bartender, and assist in the preparation of drinks
  • Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed
  • Operate a cash register/POS system and maintain financial controls
  • Keep the designated working area clean and organized, and assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the dining room
  • Recognize players and relay information to the host/hostess and other restaurant team members
  • Know and promote current property events and promotions
  • Thank customers, invite them back, and wish them luck
Requirements
  • Outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Enjoy hosting others and initiating conversations
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to three months of related experience and/or training
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to count money and change correctly
  • Available to work a required schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
  • Meet professional appearance standards
  • Ability to respond to visual and oral cues
  • Able to work in constricting areas and tolerate noise and bright lights
