Job Summary:

The GIANT Company is seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the checkout area and surrounding areas
  • Restock shelves and maintain inventory levels
  • Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations
  • Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements for this position
  • Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job
  • Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days

Working Conditions:

This is a fast-paced retail environment with frequent customer interactions. The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.

Shift Hours:

Minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending upon business needs
