Job Title: Home Health Aide

At Interim HealthCare, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Health Aide to join our team. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing hands-on personal care and support to patients in their homes.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and caring individual to assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting. You will also be responsible for monitoring patients' conditions, reporting any changes to our team, and providing incidental activities of daily living as assigned.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to our team
  • Provide incidental activities of daily living as assigned
  • Read and record patients' vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and respirations
  • Assist patients with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises
  • Assist with medication reminders and administration
  • Utilize infection prevention and control measures, such as universal precautions and personal protective equipment
Requirements:
  • Eighteen (18) years of age or older
  • Pass a home health aide written knowledge exam
  • Pass state required criminal and abuse background checks
  • Able to effectively communicate in English with all levels of the workforce
  • Able to perform and prioritize multiple tasks or functions
Working Conditions:

As a Home Health Aide, you will work in patients' homes, which may involve occasional exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, and other potentially infectious or hazardous materials. You must be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and reach freely, and frequently lift, reposition, and transfer clients/patients.
