ProCare Therapy is in search of a committed Exceptional Needs Educator to become part of our dedicated team. This role is centered on providing educational support to high school students with significant challenges.
Role Details:- Full-Time Engagement: 40 hours per week.
- Classroom Dynamics: Manage a classroom with a caseload of 9-10 students, assisted by 2 paraprofessionals.
- Specialization: Deliver tailored educational strategies for students with profound disabilities.
- Design and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) customized to meet each student's unique requirements.
- Foster a supportive and engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages learning and development.
- Collaborate with families, colleagues, and specialists to provide holistic support for students.
- Conduct evaluations and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related discipline.
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
- Preferred experience with students requiring specialized support.
