Job Summary:
Fires boilers and controls the generation of a continuous supply of steam for heating hospital buildings, supplying power to machinery and auxiliary equipment, laundry, and sterilizing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Observes operating equipment, meters, and gauges to ensure that operation is in accordance with specified instructions.
- Manipulates valves to adjust and correct malfunctions.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a 2nd Class Fireman.
