Position Overview:

This role is contingent upon contract award and is anticipated to be a Hybrid position.

Role Summary:

We are in search of a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer to support the upcoming initiatives related to cybersecurity operations and risk management frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement the organization's security framework to safeguard data, systems, and networks.
  2. Establish and enforce security policies and protocols.
  3. Supervise the deployment of security technologies.
  4. Identify and address security vulnerabilities and risks.
  5. Monitor and react to security incidents effectively.
  6. Conduct regular security evaluations and audits on systems and networks.
  7. Create and implement threat models.
  8. Stay informed about emerging threats and attack methodologies.
  9. Engage with clients at a strategic level and produce reports to monitor progress; possess comprehensive knowledge in security engineering, network engineering, penetration testing, and assessment of security controls.
Essential Qualifications:
  1. A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  2. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in cybersecurity engineering.
  3. Proficient in architecting and deploying tools to monitor and analyze network and email traffic, as well as endpoint technologies for both user workstations and servers.
  4. In-depth understanding of security industry best practices and standards, particularly concerning compromise assessments.
Preferred Certifications:
  • GIAC Certification, CISSP Certification, Splunk Certifications.
Clearance Requirements:
  • Public Trust Clearance or higher is mandatory.
