Medical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Support Specialist to join our team at McLaren USA. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital support role in ensuring the delivery of effective and efficient services to meet the needs of patients and families.
About the RoleThe Medical Support Specialist will be responsible for taking on a variety of administrative tasks that support nursing unit operations. This includes establishing and maintaining efficient communication, accurate data entry, maintaining inventory of identified forms and supplies, and other support activities.
You will also provide health care for patients under the direction of a nurse, assisting with day-to-day tasks and playing a vital support role. Your duties may include responding to intercom requests, performing administrative tasks such as answering the phone and scheduling appointments, and providing physical support for patients with daily activities and personal hygiene.
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- State Certified Nursing Assistant or 6 months experience preferred.
- One (1) year prior unit assistant or front medical office secretarial experience unless graduate of a relevant training program.
- BLS certification required.
$45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and experience.
