Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled senior-level diesel mechanic to join our team in Rochester, NY. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our truck fleet. You will diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems, interact with customers/drivers, and train and mentor junior technicians.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities for this role include:
* Performing standard vehicle maintenance and preventive maintenance
* Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electronic problems
* Interacting with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints
* Instructing and advising junior technicians on maintenance and repair procedures
* Advising shop management on shop repairs

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and effective communication skills. You should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be willing to take on new challenges.
