Unit Overview:The ICU has 18 beds and cares for patients with chest pain, CHF, renal disease, DKA, digestive disease, pulmonary disease, and standard critical care patients. The IMCU has 21 beds and cares for patients with chest pain, CHF, renal disease, DKA, digestive disease, pulmonary disease, and general intermediate care patients.
Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Function within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
- Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
- Graduate of a nursing program.
- New graduates of a nursing program eligible.
- Advanced certification in the field of specialty, if applicable.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
