Job OverviewPosition Summary:

As a Senior Systems Architect, you will lead engineering teams in adopting a comprehensive approach to requirements analysis, solution design, scheduling, reliability, resilience, service development, integration, testing, evaluation, maintainability, and analysis across various systems to ensure the delivery of precise and timely geospatial intelligence (GEOINT).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and mentor Mid-level and Junior-level systems engineers in executing requirements analysis, solution design, scheduling, reliability, resilience, service development, integration, testing, evaluation, maintainability, and analysis.
  • Direct the planning and traceability of user requirements, architectural designs, procedures, and challenges to enhance existing systems while reviewing cloud service capabilities and scheduling constraints.
  • Guide the development of solution designs by Mid-level and Junior-level systems engineers based on thorough requirements analysis and emerging technologies.
  • Assist in capturing and translating mission and client requirements into system and capability specifications.
  • Support the analysis and allocation of requirements to system architecture components and executing programs.
  • Conduct systems integration tasks.
  • Perform Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Course of Actions (CoAs), Trade Studies, and Engineering Assessments.
  • Assist in strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management, and interface design.
  • Integrate multiple systems, services, processes, and interfaces within Major Systems Acquisitions across various organizational and agency boundaries.
Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree (or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree).
  • Extensive experience in government or industry roles related to DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process, or systems engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service-Oriented Architecture environments in cloud, on-premise, or hybrid infrastructures.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle.
  • A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
