Employment Status: Full-time, Non-exempt (40 hours per week)

Compensation: $28.48 per hour based on experience (additional 10% for lead responsibilities)

Role Summary:

The Senior Residential Treatment Coordinator is responsible for delivering comprehensive support and services to clients, facilitating their care coordination with various stakeholders, including guardians and legal entities. This role involves aiding in discharge planning and ensuring access to essential services. The Coordinator will also assist clients in developing vital skills to enhance their functioning and overall well-being.

Supervision Structure:

Received: Direct supervision from the Clinical Supervisor, with additional oversight from the Residential Clinical Manager when necessary.

Exercised: This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide residential care that encompasses room, board, and supportive services for residents.
  • Ensure 24-hour supervision and monitor residents' activities to safeguard their health and safety.
  • Conduct utilization reviews and respond to requests for documentation from counties.
  • Collaborate with clients and legal offices in preparation for court proceedings.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including daily clinical notes and incident reports.
  • Facilitate skill-building and therapeutic activity groups tailored to residents' treatment needs.
  • Assist in the completion of essential documentation upon client admission and maintain current resident records.
  • Support residents in personal care activities, including hygiene and community engagement.
  • Administer medications in accordance with physician directives and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Participate in safety drills and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Engage in training and development activities to enhance professional skills.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a bachelor's degree in a relevant social services field or a combination of three years of experience in a related role. Experience in psychology, counseling, or social work is preferred, with a focus on mental health services.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.
  • Knowledge of confidentiality regulations and client rights.

Work Environment:

This position requires flexibility to work in various settings, including office and community environments. The role may involve exposure to unpredictable situations and requires adherence to safety protocols.
