The Tool & Gage House is seeking a skilled Calibration Technician to join our team. As a Calibration Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of our measurement instruments and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Calibration and Quality Assurance: Perform calibration and quality assurance checks on equipment to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Record Keeping: Update calibration records and maintain accurate documentation of all calibration activities.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance on equipment and perform minor tool repairs as needed.
- Troubleshooting: Provide troubleshooting and assistance with online calls to resolve any issues with measurement instruments and equipment.
- Cross-Training: Cross-train with the calibration department on gage calibration, including ID mics, OD mics, calipers, etc.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Communication Skills: Good English written and verbal communication skills.
- Mathematical Skills: Good arithmetic skills.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of measurement instruments, such as click wrenches, calipers, OD micrometers, ID micrometers, etc.
- Software Skills: General proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience: 1+ years of Quality Control experience preferred.
