Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and monitor patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status in a specialized care setting.
  • Administer medications and perform procedures as needed, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on post-intensive care recovery, medication management, and self-care techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to facilitate patient progress and optimize outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current RN license
  • BLS certification
  • Two years of recent experience in a Step Down Unit setting
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills
