About the Role

Job Description

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing basic nursing services to patients in various settings, including hospitals and long-term care facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting Registered Nurses (RNs) and Doctors during patient visits and appointments
  • Escorting patients to diagnostic departments for procedures such as laboratory tests, X-rays, and therapy sessions
  • Monitoring patients' conditions and reporting any changes to RNs or physicians
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant by the State of California
  • A certificate of completion from the Los Angeles County College of Nursing and Allied Health (CONAH)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
