About the Position

The Defense Language Institute is seeking a highly qualified Foreign Language Teacher to join our team at the Presidio of Monterey. As a Korean language teacher for the Undergraduate Korean School (UKP), you will play a critical role in providing language instruction to students.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Korean language courses to undergraduate students
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet student needs
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve language instruction
Requirements
  • Ph.D. or Master's degree in Foreign Language Education, TESOL/TEFL, Linguistics, or related field
  • Fluency in Korean and English
  • Experience in teaching languages at the high school level or above
  • Ability to pass a language proficiency test (OPI)
