Clinical Duties:

As a Registered Nurse at Bedford Springs, you will deliver personalized nursing care based on established scientific principles. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Consulting and coordinating with healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care strategies.
  • Administering prescribed medications via various methods and documenting patient responses in accordance with established protocols.
  • Educating patients regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care.
  • Recording vital signs and medical histories accurately.
  • Monitoring specialized equipment and interpreting electronic data for patient care.
  • Initiating necessary interventions in response to adverse patient symptoms.
  • Providing bedside care for diverse medical patients, including those pre- and post-surgery.
  • Performing procedures such as dressing changes, catheter insertions, and IV starts.
  • Preparing equipment and assisting physicians during patient examinations and treatments.
  • Responding to emergency situations following nursing standards and protocols.
  • Participating in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
  • Utilizing effective time management skills to enhance patient care delivery.
  • Documenting all care provided in a concise, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Completing other related duties as assigned based on the care setting.
