Clinical Duties:
As a Registered Nurse at Bedford Springs, you will deliver personalized nursing care based on established scientific principles. Your responsibilities will include:
- Consulting and coordinating with healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care strategies.
- Administering prescribed medications via various methods and documenting patient responses in accordance with established protocols.
- Educating patients regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care.
- Recording vital signs and medical histories accurately.
- Monitoring specialized equipment and interpreting electronic data for patient care.
- Initiating necessary interventions in response to adverse patient symptoms.
- Providing bedside care for diverse medical patients, including those pre- and post-surgery.
- Performing procedures such as dressing changes, catheter insertions, and IV starts.
- Preparing equipment and assisting physicians during patient examinations and treatments.
- Responding to emergency situations following nursing standards and protocols.
- Participating in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Utilizing effective time management skills to enhance patient care delivery.
- Documenting all care provided in a concise, accurate, and timely manner.
- Completing other related duties as assigned based on the care setting.
