Position Overview
As a Taxation Supervisor, you will:
- Provide comprehensive advice to clients on a wide range of corporate and individual tax services, including strategic planning, research, compliance, and mergers and acquisitions.
- Assist in business development initiatives and identify tax-related issues for current clients.
- Mentor, motivate, and train junior team members.
- Manage the tax service needs of corporate and individual clients, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Stay informed about the latest tax practices and legislative changes.
- Collaborate with the tax team to oversee and review tax returns.
- Deliver timely, high-quality service that meets or exceeds client expectations.
- Address routine client tax inquiries and work with team members to ensure accurate tax return preparation and compliance.
- Promote the firm's capabilities beyond tax compliance to clients when relevant.
- Conduct research and manage special projects as required.
- Support the professional development of Senior and Staff accountants.
