The Mile Bluff Medical Center seeks a skilled Retail Pharmacist to join their team in Mauston, WI.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time position requiring 80 hours per pay period, Monday - Friday with alternating 10-hour shifts. The weekend rotation includes every 4th Saturday with a 5-hour shift and closed Sundays. Holidays are also observed.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring medications are procured, prepared, dispensed, and administered safely and legally. Key duties include proficient pharmacy practice, including retail dispensing, home health aids, and other prescription activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Retail dispensing, including filling prescriptions, dispensing, and verbal consultation.
  • Home health aids management.
  • Perform and/or supervise pharmaceutical compounding activities.
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medical history collection, therapeutic drug monitoring, pharmacokinetic dosing consultations, drug information, and education.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and shipping.
  • Supervise pharmacy interns and technicians.
Requirements:
  • Professional Pharmacy degree required; Doctorate preferred.
  • Current Wisconsin Pharmacist license and BLS certification.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
