Interventional Radiology Technologist Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist Lead to join our team at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Great Lakes. As a key member of our imaging services department, you will be responsible for leading the daily operations of interventional imaging services, ensuring quality imaging, patient care, and workflow.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the daily operations of interventional imaging services, ensuring quality imaging, patient care, and workflow.
- Monitor patient documentation for timely completion and accuracy.
- Oversee quality control testing, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Serve as a resource to department staff and other team members as needed.
- Perform staff orientation, training, and coaching, and provide input to staff performance evaluations.
- Help position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
- Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department.
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
- 1 year of experience required.
- BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association required.
- One or more of the following: Cardiographic Tech certification from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International, Radiologic Technologist registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or Radiology Tech licensure from the IL Emergency Mgmt Agency.
