Job Overview

Position: CNC Operator
Shift: 1st shift 7am-3:30pm
Compensation: $25-$30/hr

Key Responsibilities:

As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Adhering to all safety protocols and performing tasks in a secure and efficient manner.
  • Utilizing precision measuring tools to verify the dimensions of completed components to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Setting up and securing tools, fixtures, and workpieces on machinery using hand tools and precision measuring devices.
  • Stopping machines to extract finished components or to adjust tooling, setup, or workpiece positioning as per machining sequences.
  • Inputting control instructions into machine control units to initiate operations.
  • Examining program specifications or blueprints to establish machine operations, sequencing, and finished component dimensions.
  • Monitoring machine operations to identify issues such as dull cutting tools or excessive vibrations, making necessary adjustments.
  • Maintaining reliable attendance and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by management.
Required Skills:

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with precision measuring instruments.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools.
  • Familiarity with machine control units.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Position Type:
