Environmental Services Supervisor

Forefront Living is seeking an experienced Environmental Services Supervisor to join our team at Presbyterian Village North. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our environmental services department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of environmental services staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement procedures for maintaining a clean and safe environment, including infection control and waste management.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of supplies and equipment.
  • Train and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including OSHA and HIPAA.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in institutional housekeeping or maintenance, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
  • Proven supervisory experience, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, residents, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software systems.
