Water Infrastructure Engineer

EnDyna is seeking a highly skilled Water Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our clients in the development of preliminary engineering reports (PERs) for community and Tribal drinking water systems.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to drinking water and wastewater utilities, regulatory program implementation oversight activities, and guidance development.
- Project Management: Oversee project execution and management, including subcontractor management and project reporting.
- Design and Estimation: Work on conceptual design and cost estimation for water projects, including water lines, water treatment plant modernization, water storage, and pump stations.
- Review and Approval: Review technical submittals, schedules, and change orders for water projects.
- Client Communication: Facilitate change management and collaboration with contractors, clients, and project teams, and act as the primary point of contact between local communities and engineering teams.
- Product Development: Lead the development of client-ready products.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering and at least 5 years relevant work experience, or a Master's degree and 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- Professional Certification: Professional Engineering License (in progress or desired).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Experience with Safe Drinking Water Act and/or Clean Water Act regulatory programs, and certification as a water and/or wastewater operator is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical design and construction skills, and proficiency in engineering software and tools, such as Bluebeam, CAD, and ArcGIS.
- Soft Skills: Excellent project execution and management abilities, leadership skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
The successful candidate will be required to travel occasionally to water and wastewater utilities in the field. They must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S. Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen.
