Function:

Maintenance Job Summary: The Plant Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all physical aspects of the facility. This includes managing mechanical systems, maintaining production equipment, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and contributing to overall cost-effectiveness. You will report to the Maintenance Manager and have Supervisors of Millwrights and Coordinators reporting to you. This role is considered safety sensitive. Job Responsibilities:

You Will:

  • Equipment Management: Propose, plan, and supervise equipment requirements to enhance production efficiency and returns.
  • Facility Design and Modifications: Plan the arrangement of mechanical equipment and recommend and implement changes to facilities.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Assist in daily and weekly reporting on schedule adherence and cost initiatives.
  • Work Order Management: Ensure that planned work orders are completed safely and technically, providing feedback to enhance daily and turnaround planning.
  • Team Collaboration: Support all team members during the execution of turnarounds to meet performance expectations.
  • Employee Training: Mentor and develop employees to optimize their performance.
  • Issue Resolution: Analyze issues, evaluate alternatives, and take action to resolve personnel and plant/process challenges.
  • EHS Engagement: Promote site environmental, health, and safety (EHS) activities through adherence to policies and active participation in EHS programs.

You Have:

  • Leadership Skills: Ability to coordinate employees, teams, and departments with diverse skills and backgrounds.
  • Supervisory Experience: Minimum of 5 years in roles combining technical, managerial, and financial expertise.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and EPA Regulations: Familiarity with regulations pertinent to plant operation and maintenance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in understanding and operating the systems and equipment utilized at the facility.
  • Analytical Abilities: Capability to perform and analyze multiple system checks.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or a related field).
