Job Summary
BCDC - Brookwood Medical Center seeks a skilled Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work or a related field and at least two years of experience in a related field. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients, preparing individual Master Treatment Plans, and conducting regular reviews and updates. They will also perform Mini-mental status exams, psychosocial assessments, and facilitate individual and group therapy sessions. The therapist will be responsible for documenting all interactions in a timely manner and contacting patients who have been absent for three or more days to determine the reason for their absence and when they plan to return to the program.

Responsibilities
- Design a unique Master Treatment Plan for each patient based on diagnosis and issues identified in assessments.
- Perform Mini-mental status exams and psychosocial assessments on all new patients.
- Provide group and individual therapy and prepare timely documentation in compliance with company, state, and federal guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
- At least two years of experience in a related field. Work experience may not substitute for minimum education requirement.
- Must be currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy. CPR certification is also required.
