As a Fitness Trainer, you will oversee the Planet Fitness group fitness initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing a class schedule for members, including Orientation and Develop Your Own Program (DYOP).
- Engaging proactively with members on the gym floor to discuss their fitness aspirations, guiding them on safe equipment usage, and providing necessary support.
- Promoting our Judgement Free Zone by connecting with members, offering assistance, and supporting their fitness journeys while adhering to club policies.
- Conducting regular walkthroughs of all fitness areas to ensure a positive member experience and promptly addressing any issues.
- Conducting outreach to prospective members and providing tours, assessing their membership needs and suggesting Trainer services.
- Welcoming members and guests as they arrive and depart, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Answering phone calls in a friendly manner and assisting callers with their questions.
- Regularly cleaning and sanitizing all fitness equipment and amenities, including communal areas.
- Ensuring restrooms are maintained, clean, stocked, and organized according to the cleaning schedule.
