Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide contract services to a local school district in Plaistow, NH.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Therapy: Conduct comprehensive assessments of students referred for possible speech and language needs, and provide individual and/or group therapy sessions to address identified disorders.
- Case Management: Develop and implement individualized education plans, present them to parents and school administrators, and maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
- Collaboration and Consultation: Work closely with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators to address speech and language concerns, and provide reports of student progress to parents.
- Organizational and Administrative Tasks: Organize student caseload, develop a schedule for each assigned school, and create resource materials for use in speech and language development.
- Qualifications: New Hampshire SLP license, excellent communication and organizational skills, up-to-date knowledge of New Hampshire Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings, and professionalism and accountability.
