Job Summary:
AIPAC, a prominent advocacy group in the United States, is seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and relevant work experience in research and policy analysis.

About the Role:
This position involves conducting research on Members of Congress and candidates running for the House and Senate. The successful candidate will work closely with our multi-member team to gather information from various sources, including web-based applications, social media, and news outlets. Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting thorough research on congressional candidates
  • Searching online platforms for relevant news and background information
  • Producing well-structured research memos for internal staff and external stakeholders
  • Collaborating with our legal team on communication strategies
  • Participating in campaign strategy meetings and contributing to poll drafting
  • Compiling daily political clips

Requirements and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., politics, international relations, public policy)
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in research and policy analysis
  • Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software and social media platforms
