Golden Corral Cook

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at R.F.R., Inc. dba Golden Corral. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality Hot Choice Buffet products, ensuring speed, cleanliness, and organization in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Hot Choice Buffet products, including Carving and Display Cooking products, according to Golden Corral recipes and procedures.
• Grill all items according to Golden Corral standards to ensure quality.
• Ensure that every fried product is always fresh and hot.
• Restock items at the Display Cooking Station if the Buffet Attendant is unavailable.
• Assist guests with carved meat options if the Carver is unavailable.
• Maintain the correct temperature of all products during cooking, holding, and serving.
• Conduct opening and closing administrative procedures.
• Properly maintain equipment according to the Equipment Maintenance manual.
• Restock and rotate food products using the first-in, first-out method (FIFO).
• Take inventory of products and check build-to with the Manager at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Ensure that the Hot Cook area and all smallwares are clean and check dishes for cleanliness before using them.
• Follow local health department laws.
• Keep the Char Grill clean and scraped to ensure product quality and sanitation.
• Ensure that Hot Choice Buffet products, including Display Cooking products, are always hot and fresh for guests.
• Know and follow position responsibilities as they relate to just-in-time delivery.
• Be friendly and courteous to guests and assist them with products.
• Maintain professional communication at all times.
