Job Summary

The Certified Pharmacy Technician plays a vital role in supporting the Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacist in their daily and periodic functions. This includes receiving phone calls and inquiries from healthcare providers and responding to their needs as appropriate. The Certified Pharmacy Technician performs all duties under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, distribute, deliver, and package pharmaceutical products to ensure the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to patients of all ages at AnMed Health Cannon.

• Assist with daily functions, including receiving and processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records.

• Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacist to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalence.

• South Carolina Board of Pharmacy Certified Pharmacy Technician required.

• Previous employment in a hospital-related position preferred.
