As a caregiver with our organization, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, each with their unique needs and preferences. Your role will involve providing personalized support services that promote independence, well-being, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

The following are key responsibilities associated with this position:

  1. Personal Care: Assist clients with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, oral hygiene, and medication reminders.
  2. Mobility Assistance: Provide support with walking, transferring, and repositioning to ensure safety and comfort.
  3. Incontinence Care: Help clients with toileting needs, including using a bedpan, urinal, or assisting with bathroom trips.
  4. Meal Assistance: Aid with meal planning, grocery shopping, and preparing meals according to client dietary requirements.
  5. Household Support: Assist with light housekeeping, including laundry, bed linens, and maintaining a clean environment.
  6. Transportation: Provide transportation to appointments and errands as outlined in the client's care plan.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Must be 18+ years old.
  • Demonstrate a compassionate and positive attitude toward caring for others.
  • Hold experience in home care, although it is not required.
  • Be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility.
  • Be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Be able to handle multiple tasks and stay organized.
