Job Summary

Focus Staff is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Portland, Maine.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform complex specialized tasks in operating radiographic equipment to conduct vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures.
  • Assist radiologists in performing exams, providing clinical excellence, and ensuring relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
  • Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification, and assist in maintaining an adequate level of supplies required for patient care.
  • Develop and maintain skills in McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak, and other clinical systems implemented related to the modalities.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Interventional Radiographer.
  • Independent decision-making skills, solid understanding of patient safety and precautions, and excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
  • Ability to relate positively to residents and families, work cooperatively with other employees, and maintain regular attendance.
  • Meet all local health regulations and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment.
Work Experience

At least 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiographer.
