Job Summary

Dignity Health Medical Group - North State is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its busy ENT division. This is a part-time opportunity, with a commitment of one day per week on Fridays. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing care to established patients, performing minor procedures, patient education, and follow-up, as well as responding to patient questions on a variety of medical issues.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat various medical conditions
Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging
Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation
Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices

Requirements

Training from an accredited NP or PA program
Possession of CA licensure
Excellent communication skills
1 or more years of post-training experience desirable
