We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Inspector to join our team at Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering. As a Senior Construction Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our transportation infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Project Oversight: Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to inspect materials, equipment, and construction methods to ensure they meet industry standards and project requirements.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, test results, and other relevant project data.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to maintain and enhance professional expertise.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field preferred.
- Experience: At least 6 years of experience in construction inspection, materials testing, or a related field, with a strong background in transportation engineering and infrastructure development.
- Certifications: Possess relevant certifications, such as OSHA 10, Work Zone Traffic Control, and other industry-specific certifications.
- Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
