**Job Description:**
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare medications for patients in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide pharmacological information to healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Monitor patient drug therapies to prevent adverse reactions and interactions.
- Review physician orders and detect therapeutic incompatibilities to ensure patient safety.
- Dispense medications by compounding and packaging pharmaceuticals in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor drug therapies and advise interventions to improve patient outcomes.
- Organize and direct technicians' workflow to ensure efficient and effective pharmacy operations.
- Answer questions from healthcare professionals and counsel patients on medication use and management.
- Participate in clinical programs and train pharmacy staff to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Comply with state and federal drug laws and regulations to ensure pharmacy operations are in compliance.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory and records to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Supervise support personnel to ensure effective and efficient pharmacy operations.
- Maintain current knowledge of legislation and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance.
- Adhere to infection-control protocols to ensure a safe and clean working environment.

- Graduate degree from an accredited pharmacy college.
- Valid state pharmacist license.
- CPR certification.
- Experience in a retail or clinical pharmacy setting.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
